Beginning your walk with Christ doesn’t mean having everything figured out. It means being willing to take small, faithful steps—again and again. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be honest, teachable, and willing to grow.
Here’s how to begin, gently and intentionally:
1. Find a Church That Teaches the Bible Clearly
Look for a church where Scripture is opened, explained, and applied—not watered down or twisted to suit trends.
You’ll know it’s the right place when Christ is the focus, not the crowd.
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works…” (Hebrews 10:24)
2. Show Up Regularly
Even when you’re tired. Even when you feel awkward.
There’s something powerful about simply being present—hearing the Word, singing with others, praying together.
It’s not about checking a box. It’s about building a rhythm of grace.
3. Make a Few Real Friendships
You don’t need a hundred friends. Just a few who love Jesus and want to grow.
Look for women who are honest, kind, and willing to walk with you.
These friendships will carry you through the ups and downs.
4. Start Reading the Bible—Even If You Don’t Understand Everything Yet
Begin with a gospel like John. Read slowly. Ask questions.
God isn’t waiting for you to become a theologian—He’s inviting you to know Him.
Let Scripture shape your thoughts, your choices, your heart.
5. Pray Simply and Often
You don’t need fancy words. Just talk to God.
Tell Him what’s on your heart. Ask for help. Thank Him for small things.
Prayer is where relationship grows—not performance.
6. Give Yourself Grace to Grow Slowly
You won’t change overnight. That’s okay.
God is patient. He’s not rushing you—He’s walking with you.
Celebrate progress. Learn from mistakes. Keep going.
💗 You’re Not Alone
This journey is personal, but it’s never meant to be lonely.
God is with you. His Word is your guide. His people are your support.
So take the next step. However small, it matters.
